I chose the BIS program because I did not want to just concentrate and learn
about one particular subject. I wanted to be knowledgeable about many subjects. I wanted to learn about all of the different
learning disabilities that exist and have an effect on kids and their success in education and society. I wanted
to learn about different cultures and different countries and how these differences interact. I also wanted to learn more
about education and why in certain school districts kids score higher then in other school districts. The BIS program has
allowed me to learn about education and society and how they impact each other.
