A very meaningful learning
experience that I had during my time at Arizona State University
was the entire educational experience itself which taught me the importance of being patient. Last year I wanted to quit school
and football because I wasn’t playing like I thought I should have been and I was very unhappy. I figured that if I
wasn’t playing football that I would just leave it all behind and start working. I was a new father and was feeling
the pressure of having to provide for my family. After a lot of thought I chose to be obedient and I listen to my parents
and I stayed with football and school. Now a year later I am going to graduate from college and I went from not playing football
last spring at all to making the All-PAC Ten First Team, which is a big accomplishment. The frustration that I had a year
ago has benefited me and the lives of my family members. This learning experience taught me the value of patience and I will
never forget it.
